Our Premium Clinical and chemical Peels offer a quick and effective way to rejuvenate your complexion and boost your confidence—all without invasive procedures.
Immediate Return to Routine: Get back to your day right after the treatment.
Long-Lasting Effects: Enjoy your revitalized skin for months. Consider a top-up in 3-6 months to maintain your glow.
What’s Injected: Hyaluronic acid-based fillers, containing water, hyaluronic acid, lidocaine anaesthetic, and stabilising molecules like BDDE, used to smooth lines, restore volume, or enhance facial proportions.
Risks:
Infection: Needle or cannula use may introduce bacterial, viral, or fungal infections, leading to redness, swelling, or abscesses. Delayed biofilm reactions could cause itching or lumpiness. Lip injections may trigger cold sores in those prone to them.
Trauma: Bruising, bleeding, or haematomas are possible. Rare damage to veins, arteries, nerves, or other structures may result in long-term changes to appearance, sensation, or function.
Reactions: Immediate swelling is common, with rare cases of anaphylaxis. Delayed nodules, lumps, or sterile abscesses may require treatment and could persist. Reaction risk is approximately 0.5% (1 in 200), higher in those with autoimmune conditions or active infections.
Lumps, Bumps, Swelling: Asymmetry, puffiness, or irregularities may occur, typically temporary but may need correction.
Skin Changes: Rare pigment changes or thread veins may resolve naturally, require treatment, or persist.
Blood Vessel Blockage: Rare vascular occlusion may cause tissue necrosis, scarring, or, in extremely rare cases, blindness or stroke. Immediate medical attention is critical.
Migration: Filler may shift, causing irregularities that require correction.
Dissatisfaction: Results are subjective and may not meet expectations. Effects wear off, requiring repeat treatments at additional cost.
Follow-Up: Additional product or corrective procedures incur charges.
Immediate Care (First 24–48 Hours): Avoid touching, massaging, or applying pressure to treated areas to prevent filler migration. Use a cold compress (wrapped in cloth) for 10–15 minutes every few hours to reduce swelling or bruising. Skip makeup for 12 hours to lower infection risk.
Activity Restrictions: Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms, or excessive heat for 48 hours to minimise swelling or vascular complications. Refrain from alcohol for 24 hours to reduce bruising risk.
Skincare: Use gentle, non-irritating cleansers and moisturisers. Avoid exfoliants, retinoids, or acids for 7 days. Apply SPF 50+ daily to protect treated areas.
Lip-Specific Care: For lip treatments, avoid hot drinks, spicy foods, or excessive lip movement (e.g., kissing) for 24–48 hours. Use a prescribed antiviral if you’re prone to cold sores.
Monitoring: Watch for severe pain, skin blanching, or vision changes, which may indicate vascular occlusion. Contact our Neutral Bay clinic immediately if these occur. Mild swelling or bruising may last up to 2 weeks; contact us if lumps persist beyond this.
Follow-Up: Book a review 2–4 weeks post-treatment to assess results. Additional treatments, if needed, incur costs.
